Urogenital disease

The kidneys, bladder and urethra can be affected by various diseases in the horse such as acute and chronic kidney disease, infections, bladder stones and neoplasia.

Investigations involve clinical examination, endoscopy of the urethra and bladder, ultrasound and laboratory testing. Some conditions require hospitalisation of medial or surgical treatment.
